Kelly and I got to take a little break from vicous So Cal winter and head to the Bahamas for a few days. Actually the weather was better at home but it was still beautiful and best of all it was free as it was an incentive trip from my job. We got to stay at the Atlantis hotel which is one of the top hotels in the world. It was absolutely HUGE! It basically was its own city. The hotel had numerous huge aquariums, ponds with sea turtles and hammer-head sharks. There were also waterslides that shoot you into a shark tank. Kelly and I also got to take a boat to a little island and play with Dolphins which was quite a fun experience. They also decorated for Christmas well in the Bahamas. It was a great (free) trip.

"The ship set sail from the shore that day..."

Ahhhh, dont ask cause by the look on my face, I don't have a clue.

What a nice looking Christmas tree!
Here are some more

Capital Punishment in the Bahamas.

Jaws was doing stand-up one night. He was a knee-eater...I mean slapper.
The luxurious "Royal Towers" where Kelly and I stayed and were treated like kings!

Oh right, Kelly was a queen... is a queen. (Do I still get a Christmas present?)

Sorry, even I run out of sarcasm once in a while, besides, sarcasm is a weak form of humor. I am above it.
And more

Above sarcasm... who am I kidding? I've got nothing else. Hey if you cant laugh at yourself...actually, I dont know the rest of that saying.

Goombay, our dolphin with a trainer

Whoa! This rope bridge is woobly (yeah I dont know how to spell that)

Unbelieveable, they actually feed the sharks tourist!

Oh my gosh, look at that fish! It is sooo big, it must be one of those rap guy's fish (some of my older viewers may not get that one)

Last night we had what I reffered to as a "Thanksgiving dress rehearsal." Every Tuesday nights we have a Bible study at our house with the other young people from our church. Typically we have about 20-25 people, however, we decided to do a Thanksgiving dinner and 32 people showed up! So we had tables inside and out. It was a blast. I think Kelly and I are now ready for the real thing!

This weekend was a celebration for Rick's birthday. We have a fried who was nice enough to take us out on their duffy boat around the Newport Harbor and we took it to lunch and then had wine and cake on the boat. It was a fun afternoon

Well, it is a little delayed but better late than never right? Here are some pictures of Kelly and I. We went bowling with some friends on Halloween and did a 70's theme. yes those are women's pants I am wearing, some how I managed to sneak into Kelly's. Pretty hot...

Whoa, it has been two months since my last update. I guess with the summer comming to an end there were less pictures to be taken. Actually, I am never with my camera and so have not really had much to post. In fact, these pictures are 3 weeks old (Kathy's Birthday weekend in Santa Barbara) but to get my mom off my back I felt I had to post something.

The Nolings just got a new puppy named Emma, so here are some shots of her. Who does not love a golden retriever puppy?

About two weeks ago, just after my birthday, we had some of more friends over for dinner. We decided that we would do a fiesta theme. Why you might ask? Well, I guess the only answer is why not? Kelly and I enjoy every opportunity to act a little crazy. Complete with sombreros, pinatas, and even large cans of Tecate. It did not take much to feel like we were living in Mexico (except we could drink the water).

Here are some old pictures from my birthday weekend. On the Friday before my friends Jon and Jake and their wives came in for an old fashion Westmont BBQ! Notice the BBQ shot, no meat on the 'Q and no beer in the bottle. Kelly shows a little about how she keeps me in line. Then we spent the next day riding bikes around the beach. We decided to buy some pizza and bungee it to the basket of my bike. Living the life in the OC.

Well, here is a post with pictures from about a month ago. HOwever, I promised my friend Matt I would put him on our blog because with the number of hits it gets is is pretty much the same recognition as putting the Irons on the cover of Today magazine (ok...so it is nothing like it but dont tell him, he is very proud. This is when our friends the Irons came over for a little BBQ and we decided to kick off the night with a rousing game of bocci ball. Can you tell we take competition very seriously.

We got rained on a few times but it was fun none the less. On the way home things were pretty uneventful. That is if you consider navigating a small plane through thunderstorms in New Mexico uneventful. One struck about 500 yards or so from the plane but other than that we kept a good distance.

Coming into Oshkosh is quite the experience as there are so many planes all landing at once, and in some places I say that quite literally. Calling it a zoo in the air is probably a good way to put it as there are multiple planes literally getting in line and then landing one after another. Captain Bruce handled it just fine. Here are some pictures of Oshkosh.
